The reason for the drizzle are the western disturbances in Jammu and Kashmir. He added, The sky will remain cloudy. The day temperature will not be effected but nights will become slightly colder.
And the affects of the changing weather are also being felt by people. My skin has become really rough because of the changing weather, rued Rakhi Sharma, a student of MCA-II.I quite enjoyed the rain on Sunday, even though it was for a short duration. I like it when its cloudy, as it becomes pleasant and one is saved from the scorching heat, said Sunena Verma, a student of BA II, who is a resident of Sector 45.
Even after drizzle last evening, there was no chill in the air and night temperature has been rising consistently over the past week. Except for those driving two wheelers, most city residents have got rid of their woolens. We are very much into March and it is supposed to be the last leg of winter season, said Pooja, a resident of Sector 48.
Both day and night temperature are showing an increase over the past fortnight. The presence of sun was an important factor to neutralize the effects of the chilly conditions. But now, even if it remains cloudy, the temperature will only rise, said a Met official.
